A good run

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving morning, perfect for running. The wind kicked up yesterday afternoon so we were lucky to get the race finished beforehand. Marsh was blazing a trail and he should have finished way ahead of me but he was very kind to slow down...get me through the hills...and hold my hand across the finish. Our time was 1:46:50 - a PR for both of us. Now I have the itch to keep going for a full marathon and try to qualify for Boston but I just don't know where I can find the time right now. Maybe next year...but I am really excited to do the ING Half come springtime.

Hopefully the rest of the holiday weekend will be a success...we'll see what happens tomorrow:) Oh and New Moon is 1000 times better than Twilight. We saw it today and I really liked it much better.

Our tree is up - another kudos to Marsh. He decided he wanted a themed tree, no more of our mix/match ornaments. So he brought home lots of "stuff" and when we came back from the movie - WOW. I think he has missed his calling in life. I'll post a picture soon.

It's crazy busy as usual

Our 2 year old and our 4 month old are doing well, weighing 26 and 13 lbs respectively. We had a dual checkup earlier in the week. We had lots of fun at Hadley's bday party last weekend which was a "Tinkbell" theme...although I was disappointed that folks STILL brought gifts despite the book exchange. I also had adults with no kids bring books...guess I either didn't explain it well enough or it was just a new concept. We'll try again next year!

I did my 12 miler before dawn last Saturday as I had so much to get done. It went very well and I am ready for Thanksgiving morning. I look forward to an easy 8 miles tomorrow! Now Marsh has barely trained as usual but I am sure I'll be gasping to keep up with him on race day. It's so not fair...

My boss came into town yesterday for a visit and I received a promotion, which was very exciting. I wasn't expecting it and I have felt so overwhelmed lately...so it definitely gave me a boost.

I hope to get started on Christmas decor this weekend too but I need to find a new tree first. I may order one online! Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving week...gobble gobble.
