"Adjusting"

Laura, your comment made me laugh as you give me far more credit than is deserved! I am not sure if we are doing a great job at adjusting to 2 little ones...I feel like we are terrible parents to Hadley as everything is such a crisis to her right now and all she does is try to find trouble. I swear she is getting way more attention than Leighton (as Leighton really just sleeps and eats) but it's still not enough for Hadley right now. I don't think the "old" Hadley is coming back but I hope the "new" Hadley finds her sweet side again soon.

Leighton weighs 9lbs and grew a half inch (up to 21 in) as of her appt last Tuesday. So she is eating well. The last few nights have been better as far as sleep. I don't feel like such a zombie.

Big weekend coming up as YES, I am attempting to attend Paul McCartney. We have a hotel room on 10th Street so I hope to feed Leighton, leave a bottle, and get to the show. I won't get to be anywhere near the front but oh well, at least I can see the big screens and hear Sir Paul. My sister will be here with a college friend, as well as my brother and mom is going too. Fingers crossed I can pull it off. If not, at least I tried!!

Good luck. Hadley will come around. Matt recommends that you just "roll with the punches". We'll see how that goes here in a few weeks. I don't think Luke realizes what's about to happen. He's had way too long of being the baby! I hope the concert goes well. You deserve a night out!

Yay! Hope your night out goes smoothly and you can enjoy yourself. Hadley sounds like a typical 2 yr old :) Enjoy!

Hey Amanda! Congrats on the new precious girl! You are such a busy mom! I admire all you are able to do. I don't feel like I get much done except work and taking care of Lindsey. Keep it up, but take it easy at the same time. Enjoy those girls.

Amanda,
I'm glad you are getting a chance to attend the concert! That sounds fantastic! Sounds like Hadley is doing just as she is supposed to at this age - Mia was just 2 when Laney was born, so we went through all of this with her, too. Fun stuff. Let us know if she starts beating Leighton on the head like Mia used to do to poor Laney.
Get some rest when you can -and thanks for keeping us all up to date so we can watch Leighton grow as we have Hadley.
