It's not in my job description...

I am very happy to be posting as it means that I have a computer again. The piece of crap IBM T40 died last Wednesday which made working just slightly (more) stressful than usual. And my boss just didn't want to believe the computer was really dead so I was running around Atlanta talking to computer people, calling IT in Charlottesville, tearing my hair out, crying, cussing, you name it because I HATE COMPUTERS and I do not fix them. I promise you that nowhere in my offer letter does it say I am to try to diagnose and fix computer problems. I had issues when I moved last summer and I told my boss I would not go through this again but here I was, hysterical and frustrated and ready to quit. My new computer arrived Friday late afternoon, and we (Marsh, Devon and I) spent all evening getting it up and running...had a few more glitches...I threw one more temper tantrum...and finally the vpn, the network, the email, the internet, the shared files worked like they should. And I spent the rest of the weekend and today making up for lost time with my clients. I really really really needed a glass of wine...but alas a bowl of frozen yogurt did the trick. By the way, have you tried the Wendy's Frosty Float - not bad...

Other than that it's a busy week with Marsh gone to Chicago and me prepping myself for my sister's departure:( We head down to St. Simon's next Wednesday for a wedding and I am looking forward to it, although the blackberry works there.

Marsh finally told his co-workers today that we are expecting...we have been rather slow in spreading the news. We were holding out to tell two sets of friends until we saw them in person but they both told us within the past 2 days they are expecting! I am much further along than both so we looked kind of silly but not just calling them and telling them. Oops.

Guess I better get started on dinner and I have to do some training with Munson tonight. We've been going to a lady in Crabapple as we need the training probably more than Munson...he just has to learn we're the bosses. When we're giving him kisses and treating him like he is human he really isn't getting that message...not sure what that means for our parenting skills...sigh.
