3 months old!

And a birthday party to plan soon for big sis. Where does the time go?

Good news for Devon - looks like she is going back to work for the same company she worked for when she lived here last time. So she'll get to see her brother in-law at the office and at home every day. Lucky girl LOL! She has the basement just about set up...now we have to figure out when I am going to work out or if she is just going to get up at 5am like me!

My running is going well; I am training at a 8:30 pace and had a good 9 miler on Saturday. Part of me wants to keep going after this half and train for a full...but I am really struggling with lack of hours in the day to get everything done (and spend time with my girls) so I may need to wait a while and just run another half in the spring.

Yellow Jackets are looking good...but that pesky trip to Charlottesville awaits. Not sure if its Poe's ghost or Jefferson's architecture that freaks Tech out almost every time they visit the Wahoos. With the exception of 1990 of course. Fingers crossed for a Tech win and a Miami loss...I am a Clemson fan this week for sure. Where is my purple? Clemson fans get fussy when you pick on their purple...LOL.

East Bound and Down...

She has loaded up and is currently truckin'...due to arrive on my doorstep around dinnertime. Yes, Aunt Devon is coming home. Unfortunately Devon was laid off 2 weeks ago and in turn, decided to make a very hard but important decision regarding her future in Dallas, with Phil. It's very bittersweet as Phil is a great guy...but just not the right guy for Devon. So with a heavy heart, she left Dallas very early this morning with Scarlette, her 5 year old bulldog. Poor Belue...just when she thought she was top dog around here...(it's taken her all this time to figure out Munson isn't here anymore).

Obviously the top priority for Devon is to find a job. She has an interview Thursday so fingers and toes are crossed. It's a very stressful time for her but I am glad we can help her with a place to stay and food to eat. I hate she is going through this but we are very happy she'll be nearby again and she is excited to see the girls. I know how it feels to start all over so I hope I can be as helpful to her as she was to me during that tough time.

Welcome home little sis. We've missed you.
