Friends and Chocolate

Sunday night I had an attack of something - I don't know what - but I was dealing with severe stomach pain that then shot up between my shoulder blades. It was severely painful and scary. I talked to the OB nurse at 12:30am and she didn't think the baby was the issue so I did not go to the hospital. The pain finally subsided enough to let me go to sleep around 2am.

I had a dream that I conference called Laura and Julie, and Debbie came to my house so that I could discuss this pain with all of you. As I am talking on the phone Debbie comes up to me and says "There isn't anything sweet in this house...where is the chocolate?" And then I woke up. But I woke up smiling...I felt like the dream was saying that no matter how long it's been since we've seen each other or how different all of our lives are now, I still have 3 friends that I could count on.

By the way the chocolate is in a candy dish in our piano room...because this room isn't used often and if I leave the dish out in the wide open my husband will eat it all in one day. Oh and the pain hasn't come back so I guess it was just one of those random things.

I didn't see my shadow...

Does that count? I am officially tired of winter. It usually doesn't bother me but it seems like it's been so much colder this year. And we don't even get any pretty snow to go with it. The weathermen have teased us time and time again...but no luck. It will probably snow in April or something.

I had my 16 week appt yesterday and everything is moving right along. We have an ultrasound scheduled for March 2nd and then maybe that will kickstart us to think about some names! We also have some re-arranging to do with bedrooms. Hadley will be moving up to a big girl bed sooner than later.

Not much else going on as every day seems a bit of a blur. I had to travel last week and will be going back up to Virginia in late February, March and lastly in April...hoping the dr says I can't go anymore after that. Last week was especially fun as our plane took a side trip to Bristol, TN due to ice/fog in all of Virginia. I spent more time on a plane and in a car then I did in our VA office. Super efficient :)
